If you plan to seek a variance in this village, it could soon cost you an additional $75.

Council recently introduced legislation that would increase the fee for variances from $100 to $175.

Acting village administrator Kevin Ackerman said the city of Huron's zoning department handles some of Milan's zoning issues. Huron officials had enacted a cost increase, hence the need for the additional $75.

A story about this and other issues discussed by council was published in the Reflector.
