HIGHWAY PATROL

A vehicle driven by an unidentified person was traveling west on U.S. 224 in Greenwich Monday and went off the right side of the road, hitting a ditch.

Leanne M. Mosley, 27, of 18 Prospect St., Unit A, Monroeville, hit a deer Monday on Egypt Road.

NORWALK POLICE

Audias M. Morales, 26, was arrested at 23 Newton St. on active warrants Tuesday. He is currently in custody at the Huron County Jail.

David E. Leroux, 26, was arrested Tuesday on two warrants for contempt of court. He was transported to the Huron County Jail, where he will serve 10 days.

A transient from Bristol, Va. reported Tuesday that the man who gave him a ride from somewhere between Bellevue and Clyde to Norwalk drove off with his belongings.

Responded to a report of a robbery at 201 Cline St.

A woman reported her vehicle had been damaged by a shopping cart in the Wal-Mart parking lot Tuesday.

A woman reported several items were missing from her wallet Tuesday.

A teenager reported Tuesday that her cell phone had been stolen from Norwalk Middle School last week.

A man reported he lost his wallet Tuesday, then later that day advised he had found it.

A sofa in poor condition had been placed net to the dumpster of the clothing bank, 51 Benedict Ave., sometime between 5 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday. The sofa had been rained on throughout the night. The clothing bank has requested extra patrols.

NORWALK FIRE

Responded to a carbon monoxide detector activation at 1 King John Drive at 2:42 p.m. Tuesday. Fire department equipment did not get any readings; returned to station 2:56.

Called to the construction site on Townline Road 151 Monday at 9:45 p.m. to assist with a waterline break. Returned to station at 1 a.m. Tuesday.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Responded to a complaint of aggravated menacing at 5144, U.S. 250 on Monday.

Responded to an alarm activation Tuesday at an Ohio 61 business in New Haven.

A Lakeshore, Willard resident reported two suspicious people, a male and female, came to his door Tuesday requesting he smell their gas cans to see if there was gas in the can.

An employee of a U.S. 224, New Haven business reported two suspicious males, suspected of shoplifting, were males hanging around the business.

Tharon L. Reed, 23, of 121 Keefer St., Willard, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for a probation violation and transported to the Huron County Jail, where he remains in custody.

An Old State Road resident reported her home had been egged Tuesday night. No damage was reported, but the resident said in the past the home had been toilet papered two times in a week.

A Willard West Road, Willard resident reported his home was toilet-papered Tuesday night. He said this is the second time in three months the home has been toilet- papered.

An Ohio 162, New London resident reported Tuesday her husband was violating a protection order and was not paying utility bills.

Mark A. Jasper, 26, of 4221 Broad St., Willard, turned himself into the Willard Police Department Tuesday on a warrant for felonious assault. He was transported to the Huron County Jail, where he remains in custody.

A Peru Olena Road resident reported Tuesday someone had been in his home and guns had been taken.

Responded to a complaint of loud music Tuesday night at an East Ashtabula, North Fairfield residence.

Responded to a request to assist someone with getting property from his U.S. 20 residence on Tuesday.

A Cook Road, New London resident reported Tuesday a truck was stopping in front of his house, revving its engine and taking off at a high speed.

Responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls advising there had been a fight on Railroad Street, Wakeman, and a man was down on the ground bleeding.

MONROEVILLE POLICE

Aaron J. Robbins, 35, of 27 W. League St., was charged with failure to control and driving the wrong on a divided highway in connection with the U.S. 20 collision Friday with the vehicle driven by Harl L. Bahntge, 58, of Ashland. North Central EMS transported Robbins to The Bellevue Hospital with possible injuries.

Aaron W. Parker II, 26, of 44 Brown St., Monroeville, was arrested on three warrants Tuesday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs. He is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail. Before being arrested, Parker reported a suspected prowling incident at his home.
