Both Huron County Common Pleas Court and Clerk of Courts will be relocating temporarily for the summer at Norwalk High School on Shady Lane Drive to help facilitate the energy project at the courthouse.
On Thursday, the clerk’s office will be accepting only urgent filings. The office will be moving files and equipment before the electrical outage scheduled for Thursday evening.
Clerk of Courts Susan Hazel said the move will result in significant changes. Anyone needing information from closed cases is asked to make a records request 24 hours in advance by telephone, e-mail or fax.
The clerk’s office as well as the Huron County Probate and Juvenile Court offices will be closed Friday. Common pleas court will be open Friday for all emergency or scheduled hearings.
