Driver charged with killing Norwalk teen

A Columbus driver has been indicted in connection with causing the death of his passenger in a March 18 one-vehicle accident. Steven V. Maxey, 18, was driving a "muscle car" about 70 mph during the Greenwich Milan Townline Road crash that killed his friend, Michael W. Allgyre, 18, of Norwalk, according to Huron County Prosecutor Russell Leffler. Maxey was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide.
