No current funding for NASA runway

Local officials were hoping federal grants, totaling anywhere from $40 million to $90 million, could develop the runway and spur economic development throughout the entire region.

It doesn't appear the runway development planned for NASA Plum Brook in Perkins Township is going to happen anytime soon.

Huron County Commissioner Larry Silcox, who serves on the NEDC NASA Plum Brook Task Force, updated the situation for a story published in Saturday's Reflector.
