Warm and enthusiastic seem apt adjectives to describe Heidi Voelzke's personality, judging from a visit with her on her first day as the Monroeville Public Library's new director.

Voelzke, 28, of Bellevue, bubbly notes that next year's summer reading program will be split into three themes: "Digging into Reading" for children, "Beneath the Surface" for teenagers and "Groundbreaking Reading" for adults.

A feature story about Voelzke was published on the front page of Wednesday's Reflector.
