Crappie fishing worth a trip to Lake Erie

It's good times up at Lake Erie these days. Crappie fishing is typically a little later in the marinas there since the big lake warms up more slowly, but they're definitely in now as I found out last week, and hopefully they'll remain for at least another week or so. Why drive north for a mess of these silvery fish when you can probably catch some just miles away? Because Erie crappie tend to run BIG, and personally I like to catch lunker slabs.
