A Willard man is accused of possessing several forged identification cards.
The Huron County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a domestic dispute just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the home of the defendant, Alexander Cruz, 40, of 2861 Smith St., Willard.
While investigating the incident, deputies found several ID cards that were suspected of being forged, Norwalk Assistant Law Director Scott Christophel said. Cruz didn't say where he obtained the cards.
Cruz was arrested without incident and transported to the Huron County Jail. He is charged with forging an identification card, which is punishable by six to 12 months behind bars.
