Norwalk driver charged with DUI

A Norwalk motorist who was stopped for going left of center early Sunday was charged with driving under the influence (DUI).

Larry A. Johnson, 41, of 230 Stower Lane, Unit 1I, was stopped by Sgt. Brian Gockstetter, of the state Highway Patrol, about 3:45 a.m. Sunday. The traffic stop happened on Washington Street west of Newton Street in Norwalk.

Johnson's blood alcohol content level tested at .104, which is slightly more than the legal limit of .08 for drivers in Ohio. Johnson, who has one prior DUI conviction, was charged with DUI and left of center.
