DUI convictions

NORWALK - The following people recently were convicted of drunken driving in Norwalk Municipal Court: Craig R. Smith, 41, 905 Chenango Road, Wakeman. Violation date: Nov. 8, 2003. Conviction date: May 9, 2007. Sentence: $600 fine, $114.50 costs, two-year license suspension and 20 days in jail.

NORWALK - The following people recently were convicted of drunken driving in Norwalk Municipal Court:

Craig R. Smith, 41, 905 Chenango Road, Wakeman. Violation date: Nov. 8, 2003. Conviction date: May 9, 2007. Sentence: $600 fine, $114.50 costs, two-year license suspension and 20 days in jail.

Eric M. Maestas, 32, 39C Spring St., Norwalk. Violation date: April 8. Conviction date: May 8. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of alcohol intervention program (AIP); defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from May 8 to Oct. 16.

Kimberly S. Hardy, 40, 671 Rome Greenwich Road, New London. Violation date: April 10. Conviction date: May 8. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from May 8 to Oct. 16.

Trevor D. Key, 21, of Clyde. Violation date: May 13. Conviction date: May 14. Sentence: $600 fine, $65 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail.

Daniel P. Ortiz, 25, 319 W. Maple St., Willard. Violation date: May 12. Conviction date: May 14. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant was advised there could be possible deportation consequences pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code.

Sara M. Eicher, 24, 177 Tucker St., Norwalk. Violation date: May 10. Conviction date: May 14. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP.
