A 16-year-old Norwalk boy has been placed in a Sandusky community corrections facility for distributing pictures of his semi-nude ex-girlfriend via his cell phone.
"It's generally an open-ended stay, but generally is in the range of six months," Huron County Juvenile Court Administrator Chris Mushett said.
The juvenile defendant admitted to four felony counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor during a May 16 hearing. Mushett said details of the boy's probation will be addressed once his released from the facility.
New London Police Chief Mark Holden filed the complaint against the boy April 11, the same day of the incident and after the 15-year-old victim's mother told him about the incident.
The boy's two co-defendants entered denials to their respective charges May 15 and the court scheduled a June 25 hearing for each suspect. The 15-year-old New London boy is charged with three counts of pandering and the 17-year-old New London boy faces one pandering charge.
