Carol Knapp loves the world of economic development.
Knapp, who has served as the executive director of the Huron County Development Council (HCDC) since March 2011, said her main responsibilities are business retention and expansion.
Things can happen in a flash. "One phone call can change your total plans for the day," Knapp said.
In a story published in the Reflector, Knapp discussed her job and the HCDC's retention and expansion week involving her visit to 54 businesses around the county.

Would like to see the HCC ask Ms. Knapp for a cost-benefit analysis for her and her assistant's taxpayer compensated positions.
Her last annual report looked like she excels in busy work.
