This month, the Norwalk Police Department is using HVEO (High Visibility Enforcement Overtime) grant funds to conduct speed enforcement in an effort to reduce serious injury and fatal crashes. Using these funds, officers will work overtime hours, looking for speed and other violations. The target areas of these patrols are the U.S. 250 corridor, Ohio 61, Ohio 18 and U.S. 20.
These activities are funded through the High Visibility Enforcement Overtime Grant. These funds are passed from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration through the Office of Criminal Justice Services of the Ohio Department of Public Safety to local agencies in an effort to reduce traffic crashes, injuries and fatalities.

Coooo COOOO, I love it I love it!!!!!!!!!! FLAISH, buckle up!! We're in HOTTT PURSUIT!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep. They hang out around newly started construction zones and cite unwary drivers, who make mistakes around them while trying to figure out the new traffic patterns, instead of helping to keep the traffic flowing smoothly. Meanwhile, school kids are dodging cars who run stop signs!
Wow. Lets hear it for the PD. Lets also look for the under 18 kids that are easy targets. I really think the local law dogs will go crazy with this. Look forward to no warning's just tickets. And if your under 18 your screwed sorry about your luck. So the pd will be at all the city limit's so make sure you are doing the speed limit when you hit the welcome to Norwalk we are here to screw you.
Well you see N.P.D. was approved for this grant. What's the S.O. problem? Did 301 burned the bridge with federal funding too? Like usual the P.D. will put the S.O. to shame. What a joke the S.O. is.
Yes, I was wondering the same thing, Did 301 apply for this grant? How will the money be spent, certain deputies will work overtime? Did he apply for the military surplus grant? The local departments are the only ones with respect and keeping their citizens protected, and served with respect.
Yes all the local departments have been stomped on by this Sheriff, can you say BULLY!
245admend, I would say something else besides Bully but cannot cause it would probably be removed by NR. 301 is not even welcome by N.L.P.D.. What does that even tell you about 301, his own home village. LMAO
OH! It is so easy to point fingers and scoff at a department that does more than just patrol city construction zones, recreational areas, and industrial parks. If you could do so much better than the S.O. then you should join the S.O. and help them out patrolling a WHOLE county. Some officers in the NPD need to be set to parade rest!
Revenue . . .
