State Street to receive major sidewalk work

Five locations on State Street will see sidewalk improvements as the city continues its miscellaneous repair program.

If everything goes right and the weather cooperates, these sidewalks should all be repaired by Oct. 31, said Josh Snyder, public works director.

Sidewalks in front of 18, 87, 94, 95 and 106 State St. will all be repaired in the coming weeks.

Sidewalks at locations on other city streets also will be repaired. A story listing those locations, the city's plans for next year and other sidewalk-related matters was published recently in the Reflector.
