Cops working together on DUI enforcement blitz

The state Highway Patrol and Huron County law enforcement agencies will be working a two-day "3D (drug, drugged, driving) Enforcement Blitz" starting today and going through Saturday. Authorities will be working together to target drivers suspected of driving under the influence (DUI) of drugs and/or alcohol during this two-day blitz. The special enforcement should send the message that DUI offenses will not be tolerated, Sgt. Tony DeChoudens of the patrol's Norwalk post said in a prepared statement.
