HIGHWAY PATROL Steven A. Logan Sr., 52, of 243 Fitchville River Road, New London, was charged with failure to control Tuesday after he failed to negotiate a curve while driving south on Ohio 60. He went off and back on the right side of the road, overturned and was ejected from the vehicle, which hit a ditch. Paramedics transported Logan to Oberlin Hospital. No further information was available.

Amber R. Long, 17, of 1060 Big Bass Road, Willard, hit a deer Wednesday on Niver Road.

MONROEVILLE PD

Wayne A. Jackson, 40, of 379 Monroe St., Monroeville, was arrested, charged with domestic violence Wednesday and transported to the Huron County Jail. Police told him he was prohibited from returning home. Jackson posted bond Thursday.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 12:32 a.m. Thursday at 18 Republic St. Returned to station at 12:40 a.m.

Responded to a false alarm at 1:04 a.m. Thursday at 2 Bennett Ave. Returned to station at 1:26 a.m.

NORWALK POLICE

Clayton A. Blair, 25, of 21 Newton St., was charged with failure to control Thursday after he hit the vehicle driven by Crystal L. Goggleye, 25, of 133 N. West St., on Clinton Road.

Michael Shepherd, 18, was charged in connection with a Norwalk High School fight Thursday.

Brandy L. Stallard, 28, of 27 W. Seminary St., was arrested Thursday on several warrants and charged with failure to pay fines and costs as ordered by the court. Stallard currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

A woman reported the theft of her purse Thursday at a Westwind Drive business.

Picked up an abandoned brown bicycle Thursday on Central Boulevard.

The Bellevue Police Department reported having Tiffany M. Fannin, 26, of 975 Monroe St., Bellevue, in custody on a warrant today. She was charged with failure to show proof of counseling. Fannin is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

Lyle E. Viock Sr., 49, whose address was unavailable, was charged with a liquor violation today.

Provided assistance with an undisclosed prisoner for the Willard Police Department at an unspecified Willard address Thursday.

An Ohio 547, Bellevue, resident reported the theft of a stereo from her locked vehicle Thursday.

A Peru Olena Road resident reported a domestic dispute Thursday. Deputies had responded to the same address earlier that evening.

Transported two unruly female juveniles from North Main Street, Willard, to their home Thursday.

Provided undisclosed assistance for the Willard Police Department at a Tiffin Avenue, Willard, business Thursday.

An Old State Road resident reported a suspicious vehicle Thursday.

A Whittlesey Avenue resident accused a male suspect of following a female driver from Lorain to Willard in connection with an ongoing domestic dispute Thursday.

A North Edwards Road resident reported the theft of a gun Thursday.

The Norwalk Police Department requested deputies check Peru Olena Road for a missing juvenile Thursday. The boy was found, arrested on an undisclosed warrant and transported to the Sandusky County Juvenile Detention Center.

A Prospect Street, North Fairfield, resident reported two suspicious vehicles Thursday.

A North Ohio 99, Monroeville, resident reported an unruly juvenile who eventually calmed down and went to bed Thursday.

An East U.S. 224, Greenwich, resident reported telephone harassment Thursday.

Responded to a domestic dispute at a U.S. 20 business Thursday. Jackie T. McElroy, 33, of Sandusky, was charged with disorderly conduct and transported to the Huron County Jail. He was released from custody after being held for eight hours.
