Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 6 a.m. today at 175 Shady Lane Drive. Returned to station at 6:20.

Responded to 2 Bennett St. at 12:56 a.m. today for what turned out to be a smoke detector with a bad battery. Returned to station at 1:26.

Responded to 18 Republic St. at 12:25 a.m. today to assist North Central EMS with a patient. Returned to station at 12:40.

Responded to 75 Ontario St. at 6:09 p.m. Wednesday for a false alarm. Returned to station at 6:26.

Responded to 10 Jonathan Lane at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday to assist North Central EMS with a patient. Returned to station at 7:10.

NORWALK POLICE

Brenda G. Leto, 48, no address given, was arrested Wednesday on three local warrants for passing bad checks. She was taken to the county jail and later given a Monday court hearing.

Jeffrey B. Jones, 41, no address given, was arrested Wednesday for disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana. He was later released to a sober party.

Shannon M. Gherman, 23, no address given, was cited for disorderly conduct Wednesday. She was held at the jail until sober.

James A. Stewart Jr., 20, no address given, was arrested Wednesday on three local warrants for failing to pay fines and costs. He was slated to appear in court today.

A North Pleasant Street resident told police their child's bike, valued at $75, was stolen Wednesday.

Paul J. Biecheler, 30, of 6 Park Ave., was issued a summons Wednesday for May 21 for confining an animal without food or water.

Responded to an accident in front of the fire station on Whittlesey Avenue where two cars had bumped each other Wednesday. No damage or citations were reported.

Sonia Gomez, 39, no address given, was arrested Wednesday on three local warrants for failure to appear and obstructing official business. She was scheduled to appear at court Wednesday. n Police reported a tree limb fell on a woman's vehicle Wednesday on Whittlesey Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Brian K. Schaub, 30, of 975 Monroe St., Apt. 135, Bellevue, was arrested Wednesday on three local contempt warrants. He is being held at the county jail.

Kenneth J. Sexton, 29, no address given, was cited for disorderly conduct today. He was released to a sober party.

Assisted Crawford County deputies at a Baseline Road, Willard, location Wednesday because of a possible assault.

Received a report of the violation of a civil protection order on Butler Road, New London, Wednesday.

A Tanglewood Trail, Willard, resident reported a possible break-in Wednesday.
