Timothy Urich, 31, of 851 1/2 New State Road, North Fairfield, was arrested Monday on a warrant. He is serving a 60-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

Jeremy J. Friend, 28, of 1540 U.S. 250, New London, was arrested on two warrants Tuesday out of the Ashland Police Department. He was transported to the Ashland Municipal Court and his bond was set at $3,900.

Received a report of a train blocking the crossing Tuesday on Edwards Road, Greenwich.

A Gibbs Road resident reported finding a checkbook at a Milan Avenue business Tuesday.

Received a report of a stopped train at Ohio 13 north of U.S. 224 in Greenwich on Tuesday.

A Prospect Road, New London, resident reported the theft of three wooden picnic tables Tuesday.

Willard EMS transported a Willard man to Willard Mercy Hospital for treatment of wounds and counseling Tuesday.

A Townsend Angling Road, Collins, resident reported domestic violence Tuesday.

A South Main Street, North Fairfield, resident reported an unruly juvenile Tuesday.

NORWALK POLICE

An East League Street resident reported identity theft Tuesday.

Contacted Harris Street and Key Drive residents Tuesday and informed them they did not file all required forms to the City of Norwalk for their 2005 tax returns.

Kelly R. Cleary, 29, of 863 Peru Olena Road, Olena, was arrested on a warrant Tuesday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs. She is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

A Newton Street resident reported the possible violation of a protection order. Police forwarded the report to the Norwalk Law Director's office for the consideration of charges.

Larry Smith, 44, whose address was unavailable, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in connection with a Wooster Street incident today. He was held in the city jail until sober.

A Spring Street resident reported identity theft, saying she had given personal information to someone acting as a telemarketer Tuesday.

NORWALK FIRE

Responded to two carbon monoxide detectors at 545 Hasbrock Road at 4:26 a.m. today. Firefighters found an oven was emitting too much carbon monoxide and advised the owner to have the oven checked by a technician. Returned to station at 5.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 6:48 a.m. today at 10 Jonathon Lane. Returned to station 7:10.
