Well I don't know about you, but I feel as though a 13yr old boy shouldn't have to be kept a close eye on. Don't get me wrong.. yes a parent should watch their children, but a 13 yr old?.. Heck you only have to be 12yrs of age to be left alone per the State of Ohio. To be honest, the only thing that REALLY matters is that the boy is ok. So lets not criticize whether or not the mother should have watched the child, lets just thank god that he is ok.

Maybe you should watch your child, and then there wouldn't be any conflict of weather or not he looked before crossing the intersection.

This is Ben's mom, Ben didn't say he didn't look, he said that he looked but didn't see the car.
