It's Be Kind to Animals Week

This week is Be Kind to Animals Week. But, you should treat your four-legged friends with respect throughout the year, said Ken Stewart, the Huron County Humane Society shelter manager. "We just ask that people this week make an extra effort to make sure you are being kind to your animal," Stewart said. This week is a time to reflect on the happiness these companions give us. Visit the Huron County Humane Society and help us make this occasion a success."

fyi your article says HCHS is open on Mondays .. but then says it is closed on Mondays .. from volunteering there I know it is close don Mondays, Sundays, Holidays!
