HIGHWAY PATROL Frank C. Gannett, 17, of 1065 Ridge Road, North Fairfield, was charged with going left of center in the April 25 collision with the vehicle driven by Abigail J. Stengel, 25, of Toledo, on Ridge Road. The two drivers plus Stengel's passenger, Tara L. West, 25, of Bowling Green, and Gannett's passenger, Robert D. Gannett, 14, reported various injuries, but weren't transported.

HIGHWAY PATROL

Frank C. Gannett, 17, of 1065 Ridge Road, North Fairfield, was charged with going left of center in the April 25 collision with the vehicle driven by Abigail J. Stengel, 25, of Toledo, on Ridge Road. The two drivers plus Stengel's passenger, Tara L. West, 25, of Bowling Green, and Gannett's passenger, Robert D. Gannett, 14, reported various injuries, but weren't transported.

Dorothy M. Murphy, 83, of 259 Northwest St., No. 310, Bellevue, was charged with failure to yield the right of way when turning left Saturday in the collision with the vehicle driven by Robert S. Reeves, 56, of 43 Firelands Blvd., at the intersection of U.S. 20 and Prairie Road.

No citation was issued Sunday after Timothy J. Madzia, 33, of Huron, attempted to pass another car heading northwest on U.S. 250. He got back in his lane when he saw the motorcycle driven by Randy L. Houghtlen, 45, of 12430 Ohio 13, Milan, heading in the opposite direction. Houghtlen had his hand out and hit the driver's side mirror of Madzia's car. A friend transported Houghtlen to Fisher-Titus Medical Center with minor injuries where he was treated and released.

James B. Finley, 45, of 178 High St., New London, was charged with failure to control Monday after he went off the right side of Ohio 162 and hit a ditch and culvert.

Timothy J. Thomas, 31, of Ashland, was charged with failure to control Tuesday after he went through high water while heading northwest on U.S. 250. He went off the right side and hit an embankment, causing his Ford Escort to overturn onto its roof. North Central EMS transported him to Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries. No further information was available.

Andrew P. Lavigne, 27, of 325 E. Ohio 61, was charged with improper backing Tuesday after he went past his desired turn while heading east on South Norwalk Road. He backed up, went into a ditch and hit a utility junction box, becoming stuck in the ditch.

Anthony L. Perez, 27, of 2435 Zenobia Road, hit a deer Wednesday on County Road 186.

Lindsay C. Szabo, 18, of 1338 Waterview Court, Willard, was charged with failure to control Wednesday after she went off the right side of Ohio 99 and hit a ditch, with her Chevrolet Cavalier landing on its right side.

Brenda L. Spoerr, 41, of 4155 Townline Road 79, Greenwich, was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance Thursday after she went off Baseline Road after heading south at the Greenwich Milan Townline Road stop sign and hit a ditch.

Helen M. Lavigne, 81, of 352 Ohio 61, was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance Thursday after she hit the rear of the vehicle driven by Kayleen S. Lee, 40, of 6 Brian Lane, on Woodlawn Avenue.

A Meadow Lane resident reported a raccoon entered her home Thursday when she opened the door to check on her barking dog.

The Willard Police Department requested assistance Thursday with a domestic situation on Keefer Court, Willard.

An area resident reported there was a disabled vehicle in front of Lyme Elementary School on U.S. 20 Thursday.

Located a horse that got loose on Ohio 61, Plymouth, and put it into a coral Thursday.

The manager of a West U.S. 224, New Haven, business reported the theft of one can of beer Thursday.

Responded with North Central EMS to a suspected intentional overdose Thursday on Plymouth East Road, Plymouth.

Dispatchers were advised of an alarm activation Thursday on West U.S. 224, Willard.

An Egypt Road, Willard, resident reported a tow truck attempted to take a vehicle off his property Thursday.

An East U.S. 20, Wakeman, resident reported a black vehicle was speeding in the mobile home park Thursday.

An Ohio 99, Monroeville, resident reported being harassed Thursday.

An employee of a U.S. 20 business requested a deputy dispatch a sick raccoon Thursday.

Assisted the Norwalk Police Department on Benedict Avenue on Thursday.

A U.S. 224, Greenwich, resident reported her 15-year-old daughter left with a boy Thursday, possibly heading toward Norwalk. The complainant later dropped the girl off at the sheriff's office. The chief probation officer at Huron County Juvenile Court had the girl held at the Sandusky County Juvenile Detention Center until a hearing today.
