MANSFIELD Brian Kleshinski, a retired scoutmaster, wants concerned citizens and people to sign a petition opposing the closure of Camp Avery Hand in Mansfield.

The executive board is considering closing Camp Avery Hand unless the local Scouters and citizens of Mansfield and the Richland County area can raise more than $3 million for endowment funds for the Heart of Ohio Council, according to Kleshinski.
