NORWALK FIRE

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 154 W. Main St. Returned to station 3:37 today.

Responded to a call for help from a person trapped under a lawnmower on Olde Village Road. The man had freed himself when firefighters arrived. He reported a sore ankle, but said he would seek treatment on his own. Returned to station 9:07 p.m. Tuesday.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 93 Eastwood Drive. Returned to station at 6:57 p.m. Tuesday.

Responded to a call for an ill female patient at 230 Whittlesey Ave. and provided care until North Central EMS arrived. Returned to station 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Responded to 54 State St. for report of person with a laceration. Upon arrival at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted the patient with a puncture wound from a nail to the left forearm until North Central EMS arrived and assumed patient care. Returned to station 5:01

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 2:09 p.m. Tuesday at 26 Spring St. Returned to station 2:20.

NORWALK POLICE

Christina Roberts, 33, of 18 State St., was charged with disorderly conduct Tuesday.

Artemio Perez, 26, of 23 Newton St., Apt. D3, was charged with an open container violation in connection with being a passenger during a traffic stop Tuesday. The driver, Melinda Resor, 25, of 23 Newton St., D4, was accused of driving with a suspended license and stopped because her license plate was obstructed.

A Grand Avenue resident reported his blue bicycle was stolen Tuesday from the rear of the St. Paul Cemetery.

A Concord Court resident reported domestic violence Tuesday. Police transported an unruly 14-year-old girl to the Sandusky County Juvenile Detention Center. Police contacted her probation officer about the incident.

A Hickory Street resident reported a masonry saw worth $1,300 was stolen from his North Pleasant Street business Tuesday.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Responded to an alarm activation at a North U.S. 250 business Tuesday.

A U.S. 20, Wakeman, resident reported domestic violence Tuesday.

A Drake Road resident accused a neighbor of trespassing and cutting trees down at the property line Tuesday.

A South West Street resident reported a suspicious bicyclist in the St. Paul cemetery Tuesday.

Jennifer L. Haupt, whose age was unavailable, of 5810 E. U.S. 20, Lot 124, Wakeman, was arrested on a warrant Tuesday and charged with domestic violence. She was transported to the Huron County Jail and later posted bond.

Melissa M. Collins, 28, of 728 Spangler St., Willard, was arrested on a warrant during an Ohio 61, North Fairfield, traffic stop Tuesday. She is currently in custody at the Huron County Jail on charges of drug trafficking.

A Portage Path, Willard, resident reported her 14-year-old daughter received text messages from men 18 and 21-years-old Tuesday.

A U.S. 250 resident reported being threatened Tuesday.

A Quarry St., Willard, resident reported someone broke the windows out of an old school bus parked on his property Tuesday.

A U.S. 250 resident reported someone vandalized her flower beds, cut flowers down, turned yard ornaments upside down and dumped dirt on her steps Tuesday.

A U.S. 250 resident reported her son's bicycle had been stolen.

Eddie D. Tackett, 39, of 101 First St., Willard, was turned over to a deputy by the Willard Police Department on a warrant Tuesday. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail on charges of drug trafficking.

An Ohio 99, Willard, resident reported a truck was blocking an alley Tuesday.
