Milan man is arrested near his own driveway

MILAN A Milan man is serving a 10-day jail sentence after being arrested late Thursday night after he pulled into his own driveway. Jeremy F. Meade, 33, of 53 Bond St., was arrested on a Norwalk Municipal Court warrant and charged with contempt of court for failing to show proof of counseling. Milan Police Sgt. Bob Meister made the arrest about 11 p.m.

MILAN A Milan man is serving a 10-day jail sentence after being arrested late Thursday night after he pulled into his own driveway.

Jeremy F. Meade, 33, of 53 Bond St., was arrested on a Norwalk Municipal Court warrant and charged with contempt of court for failing to show proof of counseling. Milan Police Sgt. Bob Meister made the arrest about 11 p.m.

The original charge, which was unavailable, was out of a Monroeville Police Department investigation, Chief Jim Ward said.

Meade also was charged with possession of marijuana, driving without a license and driving with a suspended license during Thursday's incident. He was released to a Monroeville officer and transferred to the Huron County Jail.
