A barn in Monroeville was blown down early this morning as a storm swept through Huron County.
The barn, belonging to Monica and Chris Nickoli, lost a wall in an earlier storm last week.
It was only matter of time before it all went down.
"Last week we actually lost a section of wall Friday night," Monica Nickoli said. "Last night about 1:15 the wind picked up and we headed down to the basement. My husband looked out the window and said 'there goes the barn.'
"All of the bigger stuff we got out when the first wall went down. They got the big stuff out over the weekend."
Chris Nickoli said it sounded like a train when the storm hit.
"We really get heavy winds out here because we are in the open field," Monica said. "The house was shaking and the bed was rattling ... I do get worried out here.
"By the time we got to the basement it already passed. It only took about two minutes. My husband wants to rebuild another barn. No question about that one."
The couple have two children -- Tyler, 10, and Robert, 2. Nobody was injured.
The couple lives at 4216 Ohio 99 north, 1/4 mile north of U.S. 20.
