More than 200 firefighters from five states took part over the weekend in Heavy Rescue 101, sponsored by the local FOOLS organization.
Firefighters worked on heavy equipment rescue with simulated crashes to school buses, 18-wheelers and a cement truck. It was all hands-on training in the event, held for the fifth straight year.
