Willard to flush hydrants Tuesday

The following information came from a Willard city council meeting Monday: The city will be conducting routine hydrant flushing inside and outside the city from Tuesday through April 26. The purpose is to clear the lines of any built-up sediment. All water service customers should not wash clothes during times of flushing.

The city will be conducting routine hydrant flushing inside and outside the city from Tuesday through April 26. The purpose is to clear the lines of any built-up sediment. All water service customers should not wash clothes during times of flushing.

The city's annual Arbor Day observance will be held at 1:15 p.m. April 27 at the City Park. The public is welcome to attend. An Arbor Day tree donated by Pamida Department Stores will be planted.
