STEUBEN Sunday is the Second Sunday of Easter. The scripture lessons, based on the theme "Unfolding Story," are Acts 5:27-32, Psalm 150, Revelations 1:4-8, and John 20:19-31. The Rev. Patricia E. Welch, pastor and teacher, will lead worship during the 11 a.m. service. Large print and children's bulletins will be available.
After worship, members will assemble personal care and cleanup kits. These kits will be taken to the Northwest Ohio Association annual meeting later this month. United Church of Christ Disaster Response Teams will distribute the kits where and when they are needed.

Sunday morning features a lesson titled "Phariseeism" at 10:30 and Sunday evening features a lesson titled "Why Israel Failed: They Adapted God's Commands" at 6. MONROEVILLE This church will continue the Easter message at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service. The scripture for the day is Acts 5:27-32 and the theme is "Putting God First."
On April 29, the churches of the Monroeville Community, the Congregational Community United Church of Christ, Trinity Lutheran Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church, are holding the second annual "Go To Church" Sunday. Church leaders are encouraging "Easter-like" attendance in worship at the church of your choice followed by a joint picnic in Commons Park at 11:30 a.m.
Following the picnic, there will be a CROP Walk to end hunger setting off from the bike trail at the Knights of Columbus parking lot, Peru Center Road.
St. Paul Catholic, Norwalk
This weekend at all Masses the first communion children will come forward to receive a small loaf of bread baked by members of the parish. They will take the bread home to share with their families at suppertime.
Congregants will continue with Wednesday evening prayer at 7 in the church throughout the Easter season.
