Kiwanis honors students of the month

Corey Wilcox has been named a Kiwanis student of the month at Norwalk High School. His parents are Denise Wilcox and Keith Wilcox of Norwalk. His activities include: Select choir; Foreign Language Club; Key Club; National Honor Society; soccer; tennis; perfect attendance; academic letters; honor roll; principal's list; work experience. Future plans are to attend The University of Akron to major in civil engineering, specifically structural engineering; has been accepted into Akron's Honors College.

Corey Wilcox has been named a Kiwanis student of the month at Norwalk High School.

His parents are Denise Wilcox and Keith Wilcox of Norwalk.

Future plans are to attend The University of Akron to major in civil engineering, specifically structural engineering; has been accepted into Akron's Honors College.

Andrew S. Woods has also been named student of the month.

His parents are Duane and Joanne Woods of Norwalk.

His activities include: Band; National Honor Society; pep band; jazz band; wind ensemble; academic letters; honor roll; principal's list; church activities.

His future plans are to attend Capital University to major in music or marine biology.

Andrew Benson has also been named student of the month.

His parents are Richard and Tracy Stang of Norwalk and Michael Benson of Norwalk.

His activities include: Band; Boys' State; Foreign Language Club; Key Club; National Honor Society; orchestra; pep band; tennis; wind ensemble; academic letters; honor roll; principal's list; work experience.

His future plans are to attend Kettering University to major in electrical engineering.

Theodor May has also been named a student of the month.

His parents are Ralph and Tamara May of Norwalk.

His activities include: Band; Foreign Language Club; Key Club; National Honor Society; pep band; tennis; wind ensemble; academic letters; honor roll; principal's list; church youth group; work experience.

His future plans are to attend Kettering University to major in computer engineering/science

I would like to see the students of the month from the elementary schools. My son, Jacob Power, was student of the month at League Elementary in Mrs. Steinwarts class. Of course I am very proud of my little man, especially receiving this award in Kindergarten.
