HIGHWAY PATROL

Brian L. Kovach, 18, of 315 Peru-Olena Road, was cited for reasonable control Thursday on New State Road after his vehicle exited the roadway and struck a mailbox and stone wall. He was taken to Fisher-Titus Medical Center by North Central EMS where he was treated and released.

Bradley D. Beachy, 20, of Millersburg, was cited for reasonable control Thursday on U.S. 250 after his vehicle struck a ditch and rolled over.

Lucus A. Worcester, 22, of 926 Peru Center Road, Monroeville, was not yet cited after his vehicle exited the roadway Sunday on Hettle Road, struck the ditch and overturned. He was taken to Fisher-Titus Medical Center by North Central EMS where he was treated and released.

Kayle M. Thompson, 16, of 35 Kreider Lane, Monroeville, was operating a vehicle Monday on Washington Road that struck a deer.

Robert E. Brainard, 60, of 136 Pearl St., New London, was operating a vehicle Tuesday that struck a deer on Ohio 60.

NORWALK FIRE

Responded to 117 S. Linwood Ave. at 2:47 a.m. today to assist North Central EMS with a patient. Returned to station at 3:04.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Michael L. Coan, 37, of 4813 Delematre Road, Monroeville, was arrested Tuesday on a Norwalk Municipal Court warrant for tampering with evidence.

Deputies responded to a false alarm at South Central High School Tuesday.

An Ohio 61, Norwalk, resident reported a juvenile had been hit in the eye with a BB Tuesday.

Damage was reported to the Ripley Township hall on U.S. 224 in Greenwich Tuesday.

Deputies asisted Ashland authorities in searching for a man, who is the subject of a warrant, on Ohio 162 near New London Tuesday.

A Greenwich resident reported a stopped train on Alpha Road Tuesday.

A train was reportedly blocking the road for 20 minutes Tuesday on Peru Center Road near Willard.

A refrigerator was reportedly stolen from a Hanville Corners Road, Monroeville, address Tuesday.

A Willard West Road resident reported a breaking and entering Tuesday.

Deputies responded to the report of a possible runaway juvenile on Briarcrest Village near Norwalk Tuesday.

Deputies responded to a domestic situation on U.S. 250 near Norwalk Tuesday.

Derek L. Strohm, 20, of 103 Trux St., Plymouth, was arrested Tuesday on a Norwalk Municipal Court warrant for criminal damaging. He was transported to the county jail without incident.

A Newton Street resident told police someone stole two bags of clothing from the residence Tuesday.

A West Main Street resident told police Tuesday someone stole their son's bicycle.

A Milan Avenue resident told police Tuesday someone stole freon from an air conditioner.

James E. Griggs, 30, of Bellevue, was arrested Tuesday on two local warrants.

Mark A. Mullins, 29, no address given, was arrested Tuesday for domestic violence.
