HIGHWAY PATROL

Scott M. Ziemba, 42, of 9 1/2 N. West St., was cited for right-of-way at a stop/yield sign Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. 20 and Ohio 601 when his vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Janet Fannin, 51, of 4151 Hartland Center Road, Collins.

Brett A. Nichols, 17, of 4385 Gibbs Road, was cited for reasonable control Thursday on Laylin Road after his vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch and pole.

Charles Wade Jacobson, 46, of Midland, Mich., was cited for rules for starting/backing a vehicle Thursday on U.S. 250 after his vehicle bumped a vehicle driven by Kara R. Hunter, 19, of 640 Spruce St., Wakeman.

A hit-skip accident was reported Saturday after an unknown vehicle struck a tree on Townline Road 12.

Christine M. Ridenour, 23, of South Amherst, was operating a vehicle Saturday on Butler Road that struck a deer.

Responded to South Liberty Street at 7:47 p.m. Sunday to assist North Central EMS. Returned to station at 7:58.

Responded to 175 Shady Lane Drive at 10:10 a.m. Sunday where a resident had burned food. Returned to station at 10:21.
