Childbirth education
Expectant parents can prepare for the birth and care of their newborns during this informative childbirth education class at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. The class covers topics such as: signs and stages of labor, breastfeeding vs. bottle feeding, car seat safety and basic newborn care.
Classes will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, April 12-26 or from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays, April 28 to May 12. For more information and to register, call (419) 660-2646.
Monroeville kindergarten registration
MONROEVILLE Monroeville Elementary will hold its kindergarten registration from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 10. The child must be 5 years of age by Sept. 30.
Each child will be checked for vision, hearing, and speech at registration.
Parents must bring the child's birth certificate, immunization record, Social Security card and custody papers (if applicable).

Willard kindergarten registration
WILLARD Kindergarten registration will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 30, May 1 and 3 in the superintendent's office at the Willard Middle School .
Parents must bring the child's birth certificate, immunization record, Social Security card and custody papers (if applicable).
Call the superintendent's office at (419) 935-1541 to set up an appointment for your child.
Letters were mailed to parents Thursday. Those who did not receive a letter and have a child of kindergarten age (must be 5 by Sept. 30) can call Shelley Grundish at (419) 935-1541.
Dolls recalled
OKK Trading Inc is recalling "Lovely Baby" and "Happy Baby" dolls sold nationwide at Dollar stores from September to October 2006. These dolls contain small parts, which can pose a choking hazard.
Consumers should return the doll to the store where purchased for a refund.
