Spring break travelers got quite a present for the Easter weekend.
Gas prices spiked again from Thursday to Friday, with one local station raising its prices 23 cents a gallon.
During the past 10 weeks, Northeast Ohio motorists have had gas price increases totaling 67.9 cents prior to this latest jump according to figures from AAA.
This week's earlier increase of 11 cents brought the price of a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve gasoline to $2.628 at the pump. Figuring the latest jump, price increases are getting close to the $1 mark per gallon in less than three months.
