AVERY For the seventh consecutive year, EHOVE Career Center's Early Childhood Education program will hold a Trike-A-Thon at 9:30 a.m. Thursday with their preschoolers for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. To date, the program has raised nearly $4,500 for the cause. The event will take place in the Commons, Building F.

Twenty-four preschoolers will use their "pedal power" to make as many laps as possible around a track, collecting pledge money from their sponsors. The money collected will go to assist in research of the many fatal diseases that thousands of children die from each year, such as cancer.

To prepare the preschoolers for this event, they will read a series of stories introducing the trike-a-thon and bicycle safety.
