FAMILY MATTERS

As the weather warms up, the playing fields fill up. Softball and baseball players appear on the ball diamonds; runners appear on the outdoor track; tennis players return to the tennis courts. The places which were barren, covered with ice and snow now are filled with teenagers running, throwing, catching, following the rules of their respective sports and hoping for the glory of victory. Coaches encourage, criticize, energize, teach, inspire, shout, warn and enforce rules. It happens every year, like clockwork: same time, same place, same rules, same or similar uniforms.
