HIGHWAY PATROL No citation was issued Saturday after Ryan C. Townsend, 25, of Sylvania, pulled over his tractor-trailer while heading west on U.S. 224 to make room for an oncoming tractor with a wide load, causing damage to a yard on the right side of the road.

No citation was issued Saturday after Ryan C. Townsend, 25, of Sylvania, pulled over his tractor-trailer while heading west on U.S. 224 to make room for an oncoming tractor with a wide load, causing damage to a yard on the right side of the road.

Natasha L. Snowden, 29, of Sandusky, was charged with failure to control Saturday after she failed to negotiate a Peru Center Road curve and went off the right side of the road. She re-entered the road, went off the right side again, hit a ditch, went back on the road, spun sideways and drove backwards into a ditch. Her passenger, Savannah I. Snowden, 6, was not transported for minor injuries.

NORWALK POLICE

A local resident reported someone used her debit card without her permission Tuesday.

An area resident reported the theft of several amplifiers and a space heater from a Republic Street storage facility Tuesday.

An unspecified male suspect admitted to smoking marijuana Tuesday prior to officers arriving at a Whittlesey Avenue business based on a tip from someone who smelled the dope.

A Wakeman police officer reported an area resident discovered a Sig Sauer p-220 magazine which contained seven rounds of ammunition in the trunk of his vehicle Tuesday. The car had been part of the Norwalk Police Department fleet.
