The March 12-18 Willard Police Department blotter had the following highlights:

March 12

A caller from Willard City Schools reported one of its buses was involved in an accident in the area of Crestwood and Hillcrest drives. Cory T. Branham, whose age was unavailable, of 881 Lakeview Drive, Willard, was charged with making an improper left turn.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call from a motorist requesting assistance with her vehicle that quit running in the intersection of Main Street and U.S. 224. Officers assisted the driver with moving the vehicle until it was towed.

A Spring Street resident reported her son was assaulted by a group of juveniles.

An Emerald Street resident reported her daughter had been receiving harassing phone calls.

March 13

A Maplewood Street resident reported her daughter was missing and that she had received a phone call advising that the girl was on a plane to Tennessee. The juvenile was located later by the Erie County Sheriff's Office and released to her mother.

Joyce Woodworth, whose age was unavailable, of 2696 Ohio 162, Willard, was charged with improper backing in connection with a crash in front of the post office on Myrtle Avenue.

A Spring Street resident reported the theft of several undisclosed items.

An employee of a Conwell Avenue business reported a lap-top computer had been taken from one of the rooms. It was located later and returned to the owner.

A Washington Street resident accused someone of committing undisclosed damage to the home. The incident remains under investigation.

March 14

Received information about a male suspect accused of using illegal drugs in a West Sandusky Street apartment. The incident remains under investigation.

A caller in the 3000 block of Ohio 103 reported a male suspect left the parking lot with a suspected odor of alcohol. Police notified the state Highway Patrol of the complaint.

A Walton Street resident reported a shed break-in and several items were missing. The incident remains under investigation.

March 15

Santiago "Jim" Robles, 55, of 317 Woodbine St., Willard, was arrested and charged with domestic violence. He remains in custody at the Huron County Jail.

An East Tiffin Street resident reported some aluminum had been stolen from a business. The incident remains under investigation.

Assisted United Baptist Church with a funeral escort.

A Maple Street resident reported his daughter was missing.

Terri Bruce, 49, of 410 E. Walton St., Willard, was arrested on Norwalk Municipal Court warrants and charged with failure to report to jail. She was placed in the Huron County Jail.

March 16

A South Myrtle Avenue resident reported losing a money bag. The bag was found later and returned to the owner.

An East Walton Street resident reported receiving harassing phone calls. Officers told the suspect to stop making the phone calls.

A Clark Street resident reported missing a brown boxer dog.

A Woodbine Street resident reported some medication was missing.

A local resident reported loud music was coming from the neighboring apartment and suspected there may be underage drinking. Sarra Tuttle, 19, of 611 Wessor Ave., Willard, was arrested and charged with underage consumption.

March 17

A Woodland Avenue resident reported his vehicle was hit in a business parking lot. The vehicle in question was located at a Keefer Court residence. Wilmer Perez, whose age was unavailable, of 113 Keefer Court, Willard, was charged with driving without a license and failing to stop after a private property accident.

An area motorist reported the theft of her purse from her vehicle parked at a local apartment complex. The incident remains under investigation.

March 18

Shawn Poole, 25, of Willard, was arrested on a Norwalk Municipal Court warrant and charged with contempt of court after police were advised of a Dale Avenue domestic dispute. He remains in custody at the Huron County Jail.

An area resident reported the theft of prescription medication from a vehicle parked at a Woodland Avenue business parking lot. The incident remains under investigation.

A Euclid Street resident reported garage vandalism.

Jeffrey L. Patton, 36, of 405 Park St., Willard, was arrested on warrants from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office and Adult Parole Authority. He was charged with failure to appear and possession of drug paraphernalia. Patton remains in custody at the Huron County Jail.
