Allan W. Reed, 45, of Shiloh, hit a deer Monday on Baseline Road.

Rodney A. Hillis, 22, of 6291 Egypt Road, Willard, hit a deer Wednesday on Section Line Road.

The following people hit deer Thursday: John A. Bowen, 52, of 46 W. Main St., Greenwich, on U.S. 224; and Leonard S. Mayse, 52, of 2115 Prospect Road, New London, on Fitchville River Road.

NORWALK POLICE

Tod E. Ganzhorn, 42, of 520 Milan Ave., was arrested, charged with assaulting a police officer in connection with a North Pleasant Street incident Thursday and released.

An employee of an East Bluegrass Drive business reported the theft of $50 in cash, two sweaters and some candy Thursday from her unlocked 2002 Pontiac Grand Am.

Arrested a 13-year-old Milan Avenue boy, charged him with being unruly and released him to his father Thursday. Police forwarded a report to the Huron County Prosecutor's Office and Huron County Juvenile Court.

A Newton Street resident reported an unruly juvenile Thursday, but decided not to pursue charges.

An area resident reported the theft of a cell phone at a Republic Street business Thursday.

A Westwind Drive business customer reported the theft of her purse Thursday.

A Morley Drive resident reported the theft of his wallet and about 10 compact discs from his vehicle Thursday.

A Huron County Juvenile Court probation officer reported a State Street girl's ankle monitor was out of range Thursday. Police reported the girl as missing.

A West Chestnut Street resident reported her 16-year-old daughter ran away Thursday. Police reported her as missing.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call from Fruen Street about domestic violence today. Kenneth Coffman, 25, whose address was not available, was arrested, charged with domestic violence and released.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about a domestic dispute today at the intersection of Water Street and Woodlawn Avenue. Julie A. Reagan, 40, whose address was not available, was charged with disorderly conduct and released to a sober person.

Michael R. Chalee, 28, whose address was not available, was arrested, charged with disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with a Benedict Avenue business incident today and released.

Carlos L. Contrera, 27, 82 Foster St., was arrested on two warrants today and charged with passing bad checks. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Adam L. Nelson, 38, of 2163 County Road 296, Bellevue, was arrested Thursday at the Huron County Department of Job & Family Services on a Huron County Common Pleas Court warrant. He was charged with failure to appear and released after posting bond at the Huron County Jail.

A U.S. 250, Fitchville, resident reported his stepdaughter was unruly Thursday.
