For chocolate layer:
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. chocolate chips, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
For peanut butter layer:
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
Garnish:
peanuts
Whip butter and powdered sugar. Add egg and blend. Add melted chips and vanilla and beat two minutes. Spread half in baked pie shell.
Whip cream cheese with peanut butter and powdered sugar till blended. Add egg and whip two to three minutes. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread mixture over crust and chocolate layer.
Top pie with remainder of chocolate mixture. Garnish with peanuts.
