Celine Dion Throws in the Towel, Lists Watery Compound for $72.5M
Love may be able to move mountains in Celine Dion’s universe, but what’s it going to take to move the Quebec-born, Las Vegas-dwelling diva’s water world in Florida?
The answer: $72.5 million.
That’s how much Dion has listed her otherworldly personal water park estate on Jupiter Island. It may sound like a ton of dough – until you hear what this amazing compound includes, starting with six acres of sun, fun and luxury all set on 400 feet of Atlantic Ocean waterfront.
The Grammy Award-winning singer and her husband designed this aquatic palace after buying two separate homes (a $12.5 million home in 2004 and a $7 million neighboring home in 2008) and combining them into one, massive oasis.
The main home boasts a Bahamian-style décor and sprawls over 10,000 square feet with 5 bedrooms, including a "divalicious” master suite complete with a walk-in closet featuring an automated clothing rack. The second home has 8 bedrooms and has allowed Dion to invite friends and family for good times frolicking in the estate’s lazy river and water slides.
However, after two years of construction to create this coastal Florida compound, it appears Dion’s steady string of sold-out shows in Las Vegas has made it difficult for her to use the place, which is now available for another deep-pocketed buyer looking for a diva-worthy splash palace.
Timberlake’s Main Man Timbaland Lists Miami Condo
He brought sexy back for Justin Timberlake and has since produced Timberlake’s new “The 20/20 Experience” album. And he’s crafted dozens more rap/pop songs that have rocked the airwaves in the past decade. Now Timbaland is ready to spin off his Miami condo, which he’s listed for $5.5 million.
Purchased under his real name, Timothy Mosley, the sprawling, 3.979-square-foot condo contains 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and is located in the Murano Grande building at 400 Alton Rd. in Miami Beach. Timbaland bought the place in 2006 for $2.6 million, but just threw $2 million in upgrades into the place, including Portuguese limestone flooring throughout and towering pillars.
Top Golfer Jim Furyk Lists Utah Condo
Consistently great golfer Jim is giving up his Utah getaway. The PGA’s No. 19-ranked golfer has listed his Deer Valley luxury condo for $2.399 million.
Built in 2009, the 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom condo in Park City includes access to a spa room, pool, hot tub, kids’ room and workout facility – all good for a golfer but even better for skiers. The condo complex in Deer Valley Resort is near where the 2002 Winter Games hosted the Olympic alpine and freestyle skiing events.
But in addition to listing the place fully furnished, Furyk has added a buyer’s bonus that aims to tug at a fellow golf addict’s heartstrings: He’ll include a $100,000 deposit for the Talisker Club, which will give the buyer club membership and access to world-class skiing and golf.
Jessica Simpson Strips Beverly Hills Home Price
She wants out. Big time. So Jessica Simpson has taking big action on the home she lived in after divorcing Nick Lachey.
To prove she is serious about moving this property off her balance sheet, Simpson has slashed $700,000 from the listing price of her home at 9555 Lime Orchard Road in Beverly Hills, Calif. It’s now on the market for $7,295,000.
Simpson bought the 5,500-square-foot oasis for $5.275 million on the heels of her divorce. But with two kids and fiancé now ensconced in the 11,000-square-foot Hidden Hills home once owned by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Simpson wants to move on, in all ways.
Manny Pacquiao Looking For Knockout Sale
Boxer Manny Pacquiao has listed his Los Angeles home for $2.7 million. The Hancock Park abode at 526 N Plymouth Blvd. contains 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and weighs in at just less than 4,300 square feet.
The “Fighting Pride of the Philippines” bought the home for $2.17 million in 2009, and saw it featured on “MTV Cribs” in 2010 – thanks to its slick kitchen, trophy room and backyard pool. Pacquiao recently bought a $9 million mansion back in his native country, but says his fighting days aren’t over. He’s got a bout slated to take place in China in November against Brandon Rios.
