In an online poll last week, the Norwalk Reflector asked readers who they favored in the races for U.S. senator and U.S. representative in the November general election.

Nearly 200 people responded to the poll, which showed incumbent U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) narrowly topping his opponent, U.S. Rep. Jim Renacci, a Northeast Ohio Republican, and incumbent U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) having a solid lead over Democratic challenger Janet Garrett.

In a similar poll three weeks ago, Brown and Garrett each received 75 percent of the support in their respective races.

Here are the results from the second poll:

Sherrod Brown - 49%

Jim Renacci - 47%

Another candidate - 2%

I can't or won't vote in this race - 2%

———

Janet Garrett - 40%

Jim Jordan - 55%

Another candidate - 1%

I can't or won't vote in this race - 4%
