Ray Junior Beier

BELLEVUE — Ray Junior Beier, 66, of Bellevue, died unexpectedly as a result of a motorcycle accident Monday.

Ray was born May 13, 1952 in Fremont to Raymond and Virginia (Woolaver) Beier. He attended Thompson High School, then upon consolidation with Bellevue Schools, graduated from Bellevue High School in 1969.

He had retired from A Shulman in Bellevue.

Ray was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Bellevue. He was an motorcycle enthusiast, loved old cars, and being outdoors for all kinds of activities. Boating, camping and visiting with all the friends he and Marlene had. He had a great sense of humor and loved to be the jokester.

On July 21, 1973, he married Marlene Dean. She preceded him in death on July 27, 2014.

Survivors include their two sons, Chad (Kelly) Beier and Christopher (Rhonda) Beier, all of Bellevue; six grandchildren, Andrew, Brooke, Brock, Jacob, Drew and Hugh, along with a sister, Ina (Bernie) Rospert of Bellevue, a brother, Keith (Tina) Beier of Clyde, and a sister-in-law, Karen Beier of Clyde. A special friend, Vickie Whitt of Bellevue and his beloved friend, Harley, is left to miss him.

Ray was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Beier.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Mark Bogen officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a Humane Society of the Donor's Choice or to Cancer Research.
