NORWALK — Estill Bryant, 77, of Norwalk, Ohio went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 30, 2019.

He was born on February 25, 1942 in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Estill and Ella Fay (nee Young) Bryant.

Estill grew up in Kentucky before moving to Ohio as a teenager. He was a wonderful husband and father who cherished his grandchildren. He loved yard work and mowing the lawn and enjoyed trips back home to Kentucky to see his family. Estill also enjoyed walking at the Norwalk Rec Center where he made many friends was able to witness his faith to those he encountered.

He was a hard worker who had labored at many area companies including the Berlin Fruit Box Factory, Van Dresser Corporation, Sheller Globe Corporation, Vulcan Materials, and Bryant Logging Company, which he owned. He ended his work career and retired from Monroeville Schools where he was a maintenance man and friend to many.

Estill is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Beth (nee Dann) Bryant; their children, Timothy Dean Bryant and Richard Allen (Kristen) Bryant; grandchildren, Hayden Daniel and Nora Faye Bryant; siblings, Eugene (Edna) Bryant, Gerald (Darlene) Bryant, Carol (Toni) Crawford; sister in-law, Patty Bryant and brother in-law, Ronald Sawyer.

In addition to his parents, Estill was preceded in death by his brothers, Don, Curt and Ralph Bryant; sister, Billie Sawyer, and dog and close companion Harley. 

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 4 to 8 pm in Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio where a service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 11 am.
