Bruce F. Leonard

FREMONT — Bruce F. Leonard, 66 of Fremont, died Thursday at the Cleveland Clinic.

He was born March 8, 1952 the son of the late Charles and Mary Leonard (Chick).

He was a self-proclaimed hippie and a cat lover. He enjoyed putting on laser light shows at festivals and performances and working with electronics. He was a member of the EAA and flew ultralights and experimental aircraft.

He is survived by his son, Noel (Jennifer) Leonard of Green Springs; two grandchildren: Jacob Purdham and Charles Leonard; and a great-granddaughter, Emmy Purdham.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Ballard.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E McPherson Hwy., Clyde.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bruce’s honor to the Sandusky County Humane Society, 1315 N. River Road, Fremont.
