She was born May 8, 1932 in Bellevue to the late Sylvester and Amanda (Schlachter) Best. She was the youngest of nine, a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Rosary and Altar Society.
She served on the first Huron County Jr. Fair Board, supported seminarians in the Toledo Diocese, and participated in jail ministry.
She was known for her outdoor decorations for all Holidays, enjoyed cross stitch, embroidering, painting figurines, camping, gardening, canning, and housekeeping for area businessman. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Carrie, and great-granddaughter, Ellyse. She enjoyed helping and visiting with her neighbors and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred J. Feuerstein; children, Michael (Kathy) Feuerstein, Debby (Larry) Warner, Harold (Michele) Feuerstein and Al (Cathy) Feuerstein; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville with the Rev. Ronald Schock officiating. A luncheon will follow in the Church hall. Private interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery.
