David Funk

WILLARD — David Funk, age 66, formerly of Willard and living in Mansfield, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, due to complications from a liver transplant. He was born February 27, 1952 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Donald and Donna (Bailey) Funk. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners Club. He enjoyed working on his automobiles, watching the Cleveland Indians and most of all, spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Holzworth) Funk, whom he married July 5, 1991; 3 children, Todd (Kimberly) Walker of Butler, Trent (Darla) Walker of Bellville and Trisha Vaughn of Nampa, Idaho; 10 grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, Ciarra, Andrea, Dylan, Chelsea, Adam, Nick, Paige, Lillie, and their spouses; 8 great grandchildren and 2 on the way; mother-in-law, Irma Schneider of Mansfield.

He is preceded by his parents, Donald and Donna Funk; brother, Dennis Funk and father-in-law, Peter Schneider.

Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio, with a graveside service to follow at the Greenfield Township Cemetery in Steuben, Ohio with Patrick Bevier officiating.
