He was employed by Ford Motor Company in Lorain and Avon as maintenance welder for over 30 years. He was very handy, he enjoyed building, woodworking, fishing, hunting, being out doors, and bee keeping. He obtained his pilots license, and even built his own plane.
He is survived by his spouse of 20 years Jeanna Bursley Rohrer; his children Charlie (Beverly) Rohrer, of KY, John Rohrer, of Vermilion; step children, Douglas Mullins, of Wakeman, Shantel Kooima, of Iowa; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy (Joe) Tobias, of Mansfield, Mike (Jackie) Rohrer, of FL, Kim (Steve) Koepp, of Elyria, Karen Norton, of Wellington, Bryon (Christy) Rohrer, of OK, Susie McElroy, of Dublin; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Galen and Zelda (Hitz) Rohrer, and a daughter Terri Sue White.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 4pm until the time of services at 6:00 pm at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman.
