She was born June 10, 1924 in Missouri to the late Walter Ray Darr and Lotta Day (Custer) Darr.
She was a graduate of Rogersville High School in Rogersville, MO. She was a long distance telephone operator for many years and retired with Southwestern Bell Corp. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed planting roses and flowers, and raising Persian cats and toy poodles in which she took to shows.
She is survived by her children, Judith Butler (Dennis) Kuhl of Norwalk and Steven (Tommy) Morton of Bennettsville, SC; grandchildren, Julie, Jeff, Joshua and Carrie; and great-grandchildren, Liam, Sloane, Jennifer, Amanda and Paige; sisters, Maureta Fugate of Urbana, MO and Sue Forrest of Akron, OH; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and great-grandson, Stephen.
