He was born on Feb. 29, 1960 in Willard, Ohio to the late William "Bill" and Monnie (Smith) Ousley. He was a 1978 graduate of Willard High School, worked for the railroad for many years and was self-employed, owning and operating Country Fresh Carpet Cleaning.
He loved deer and turkey hunting, his '69 Z28 Camaro, sponsoring mud volleyball teams and most of all, spending time with his granddaughters. He was a simple and great man with a heart of gold.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn (George) Ousley; sons, Joshua Blanton and Skylar (Autumn) Ousley; daughter, Cassidy Ousley (fiancé Brian Mahl); grandchildren, Madalynn, Maliyah and Meredith; siblings, Gary Ousley, Sharon Bevier, Sheila Depinent and Scott Ousley; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, David George and a nephew, Blaine Armitage.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Secor Funeral Home, where a service will take place at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ron Jesse officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
