He was born July 20, 1962 in Sandusky and was a lifelong resident of this area. Norman was a 1980 graduate of Margaretta High School and had been employed at the Chrysler Plant. He also held various other jobs in the area. Norman was a sports enthusiast having coached little league and traveling baseball teams. He also enjoyed collectible cars.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Suzanne M. (Wallen) James; three children, Cody N. James, Jeremy E. James, and Kenzie M. James all of Sandusky; his mother, Emma Grace James of Castalia; one sister, Norma James of Pennsylvania; one niece, Erica (Dan) James Handley of Pennsylvania; and his mother-in-law, Mary Wallen of Monroeville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman James, Sr. in 2014; and his father-in-law Roger Wallen in December 2017.
Friends may call Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 2:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 4:00 PM in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Pastor Michael J. Walker will officiate.
